His heartbeat for us is to sometimes crawl into His lap and allow Him to wrap His arms around us and give us that rest we were designed for. I am there too, in a place of desperate need to rest in Him and know that the world can go on without me but I can't go on without Him. Thank you for this beautiful word. Thank you for your honesty. At almost 41, I am in the midst of graduate school preparing to teach high school English. For years I tried my hand at the corporate world feeling so unfulfilled. It wasn't until I lost my job and FINALLY asked the Lord what HE would have me do that I realized that teaching and high school kids, as crazy as they are, are my passion. The Lord has provided much peace through school, parenting and work that I know it could only be from Him that I would follow this path. Have a great time!!
